Warm Apple with Coconut-Almond Glow
On cooler days, use the coconut almond cream for a quick oven dessert: cut one apple per person into wedges, place them in a small ovenproof dish and add 1–2 teaspoons of the cream in small dollops on top. Add some cinnamon and chopped nuts if you like, then bake everything for about 10–12 minutes at 180 °C until the apple is soft and lightly browned. The cream becomes wonderfully soft and aromatic and blends with the warm fruit juices into a fine coconut-almond sauce. Serve lukewarm – on its own or with a spoonful of yoghurt – for a simple, cosy dessert that is quick to make yet feels special.
