Warm Baked-Apple Granola Start
For a quick yet special autumn/winter start to the day, you can turn this granola into a warm baked-apple style breakfast: dice an apple, add it to a pan with a splash of water and a pinch of cinnamon, and gently sauté for 3–4 minutes until soft. Then stir in one to two tablespoons of the oat granola, take the pan off the heat immediately and serve everything on a base of yogurt or plant-based yogurt. This way the granola on top stays nicely crunchy while the apple pieces are pleasantly warm – perfect for chilly mornings. If you like, finish with a spoonful of nut butter or a few frozen berries that slowly thaw in the warm apple mixture.
