Fitgrade Seasonal Tip
Quick Apple Pie Dessert in a Jar
Turn the Apple Pie Clusters into a super quick autumn-winter dessert in a jar: In small glasses, first crush a handful of clusters roughly and press them lightly as a “cookie base”. Add a layer of gently warmed apple sauce or apple compote with a pinch of cinnamon. Then spoon on a layer of vanilla yogurt, skyr or whipped cream. Repeat the layers and finish with a few whole clusters on top for extra crunch. If you warm the clusters in the oven for 2–3 minutes on low heat beforehand, they smell even more like freshly baked apple pie – ideal for cosy evenings. This dessert looks impressive, takes only a few minutes to prepare and you can easily keep the filled glasses in the fridge if guests are coming.
