For smoothies, desserts or baking, soak the pieces in water, juice or plant milk for 5–10 minutes. Use as an eye-catcher in salads or to decorate cakes and desserts. Colourful Dragon Fruit Bowl
Fruity crunchy dragon fruit bowl for a colourful start into the day
How to:
Add 3–4 tablespoons of oats or your favourite crunchy muesli to a bowl and pour over milk, plant-based drink or yoghurt. Add fresh fruit such as banana, apple or berries. Then sprinkle 1–2 handfuls of freeze-dried dragon fruit pieces on top – leave some pieces whole and gently crumble a few between your fingers so the colour spreads nicely.
Tip:
If you soak some of the dragon fruit pieces in a little plant-based drink or juice for about 5 minutes and then add them to the bowl together with crunchy pieces, you get a mix of crisp and slightly soft textures. This creates a satisfying, fruity-crunchy breakfast that looks great and brings a touch of summer to your table, even on cooler days.
