Add a mildly sweet, buttery‑nutty note to smoothies, bowls and desserts. For a creamy dressing, whisk 1–2 tsp butter with water, lemon juice/vinegar, salt, pepper and spices until smooth. For a quick nut drink, blend 1 tbsp with 200–250 ml water or plant drink and adjust the creaminess to taste. Tip: oil separation is natural – just stir vigorously.

Creamy Pecan Porridge with Caramelised Banana

How to:
Cook your usual portion of oats with water or milk into a creamy porridge. At the end, stir in 1–2 tbsp of pecan nut butter until everything becomes velvety and smooth. In a small pan, slice a banana and gently fry the slices in a little oil or butter over medium heat until lightly browned and soft. Add a pinch of cinnamon if you like.

Serve the warm porridge in a bowl, top with the caramelised banana slices and drizzle another small spoonful of pecan nut butter on top. If desired, add some chopped nuts or a spoon of plain yoghurt for extra creaminess.
